Dear Family and Friends, Mustang Candle Company was founded in 2015 and started in the owner's kitchen located in Watertown, South Dakota. It is our mission to create high quality dye free natural soy wax candles and wax melts at a price everyone can afford. We use clean burning natural soy wax in our candles and our fragrances are safe to use in candles. At first we wanted to have colorful candles and wax melts like our competitors. With careful consideration we decided against coloring our products because we wanted to offer our customers the cleanest and most natural burning fragrance candles and wax melts as possible. We started selling our candles to the public in June 2015 at a Peddlers Market in Watertown, SD. We continue to sell our products at Peddlers Market but wanted to make it easier for you to purchase our wonderful candles. We launched www.mustangcandles.com on Thanksgiving 2015 just 6 months after our initial product launch. We've done several local craft shows and fairs. The biggest event we were invited to participate at was the 2016 Brookings Summer Arts Festival on July 9 and 10. We met a lot of great people and hope to participate in that event for many more years to come. In August of 2016 we signed a lease to expand our business once again and open a seasonal kiosk at the Watertown Mall in Watertown, SD. We hope this makes it easier for our customers to purchase our products and also get to know on a more personal basis. As a small business owner and Christian this is one of my favorite Scripture verses 1 Peter 4:10 NIV "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." I try to follow this verse in all my personal and business dealings.
