Association of Food Industries (AFI) is a nonprofit trade association for U.S. food importers and exporters to the U.S. AFI is committed to developing programs that facilitate the business of its member companies, encourage free and fair trade, and foster compliance with U.S. laws. AFI pro-actively monitors regulatory changes affecting the food import trade, and holds an annual convention, town meetings, and other networking opportunities throughout the year. Incorporated since 1906 in New York State, AFI pursues the diverse interests of the membership, which includes the Importers of Nuts & Agricultural Products and their Suppliers abroad; the Importers of Processed Foods and their Suppliers abroad; Packers and Dealers of Honey; Importers and Marketers of Olive Oil; and Companies that provide services to the food industry. AFI is currently based in Neptune, New Jersey.
