Can anyone explain to me why this snippet of Rust code compiles and runs in the playground, but ** when I copy/paste it to a file and compile it locally?

#rustlang question. I this code: I would like to simplify line 15. Ideally, I'd like to write something akin to Op(op, Const(l), Const(r)) => Const(op.apply(l, r)) Is that possible? Note: AFAIK I ** to use `Rc<Node>` for space-saving.

fasterthanlime m_ou_se The idea with the traits (at 5:00) might actually work by the way. You "" need to use inherent impl presedence. The code even feets a single tweet! (playground has rustfmt, see tools->rustfmt)
